Greg Mohr is the founder and president of Greg Mohr Ministries as well as the Ministry School director and staff instructor at Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, Colorado. He served as senior pastor of River of Life Church in Decatur, Texas for 24 years after graduating from Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Greg earned a master’s degree in leadership from Southwestern Christian University in Bethany, Oklahoma. Author of several books, Greg speaks all over the world encouraging believers in their faith and helping them grow in wisdom, Christlikeness, and grace. Greg is married to his best friend, Janice. Together they have four children, twelve grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and it provides sound doctrine, correction, and righteous instruction for the equipping of the body of Christ (2 Timothy 3:16).
We believe that God sent his one and only son, Jesus, for the salvation of the world. He was beaten, whipped and crucified for our healing and our sins. He descended into hell and after three days, resurrected from the dead, and then ascended into heaven. Believing and trusting in Him provides eternal life (John 19:20; 1 Peter 3:18-22; John 3:16)
We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues began during Pentecost with the apostles, and it is still available today for every believer (Acts 2)
We believe that God called the church to operate in the gifts of the Spirit to set people free and draw them to Him. These gifts include words of wisdom, words of knowledge, the discerning of spirits, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, tongues, and interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:7-11).
We believe that Jesus will return to the earth to rule and reign for 1000 years. We believe God will judge the dead, and those not written in the Lamb’s book of life will be cast into the lake of fire. We believe that after the millennial kingdom, those made righteous through faith in Jesus will dwell forever on a new heaven and earth, with a new Jerusalem at its center (Revelation 20-21).
