How to Get Rid of Worms

A sixth-grade science teacher did a lab experiment with her class one day where she placed four worms in four separate test tubes.

1. The first worm was placed in beer
2. The second in wine
3. The third in whiskey
4. The fourth in mineral water

The next day the teacher showed the results:

1. The first worm in beer was dead
2. The second in wine was dead
3. The third worm in whiskey likewise was dead
4. The fourth worm in mineral water was alive and well!

The teacher asked her class, “What lesson can we learn from this experiment?”

A wide-eyed twelve-year-old boy in the back of the class responds, “Whoever drinks beer, wine, and whiskey, does not have worms!”
